Video- Adam Lowry Suspended Two Games For Boarding

NEW YORK (Oct. 28, 2019) – Winnipeg Jets forward Adam Lowry has been suspended for two games, without pay, for boarding Calgary Flames defenseman Oliver Kylington during NHL Game No. 168 in Regina, Sask., on Saturday, Oct. 26, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 19:58 of the second period. Lowry was assessed a minor penalty for boarding.

Lowry is considered a repeat offender under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, will forfeit $71,138.22. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
