Or, if this happened in the Nashville/Detroit game, one player would have been called for interference, the other for diving, you know, just to make it even.

And then Canucks fans wonder why the rest of the league can’t stand them and get mad when Canada won’t rally around them.
This is embarrassing.

And to think…I used to like Kesler…crosscheck and a swan dive…pathetic.

Last night really puts Don Cherry in a tough spot for Saturday. While he would love to call out Kessler because he is American (non-Canadian), nevertheless he risks alienating a Canadian fan base in Vancouver (Canadian). As for Weber’s head-smashing on Zetterberg, he will remain silent, because it was a good, old fashioned hockey play where Weber (Canadian) took out the weaker player, Zetterberg (non-Canadian).
Of course, if roles were reversed, and Zetterberg (non-Canadian) smashed Weber’s (Canadian) head into the glass, the entire segment of CC would be filled with rants and raves on why Europeans (non-Canadians) are ruining the NHL, which should have only North Americans (Canadians)

Kessler is a fraud and if that’s how he thinks you win hockey games, he’ll never get it. He was out hustled and outworked by Richards all night. That was Doughty with the hand gesture at the 26 second mark, showing the world what everybody thinks of him.

Wow that was a pathetic flop. Did anyone else notice Mike Richard’s little hand gesture towards Kesler? I wonder if that will draw any fire from the league?
Btw that dive call on Hudler last night was hilarious. The officials from last night really deserve an award for creativity.
