Video- Mark Fistric With A Hit To The Head?

Nino Niederreiter was the recipient of the hit. Fistric did not receive a penalty for the hit, but did get two for roughing when Matt Martin jumped in. Martin received two double-minors for roughing.

MSG commentator is a bit full of it on the “leave his feet” line. It was coincidental with the hit and the upward follow through. That said, Fistric had a beautiful hip check lined up and instead went way too high and should have been penalized for that.

Exactly. How many times have we seen Brad Stuart deliver this hit cleanly with his arse? There is no excuse for getting your arms up like that.
