Video- Lundqvist’s Remarks Post-Game

Henrik Lundqvist was upset with the controversial late goal by the Senators last night and spoke about it post-game.

I don’t know about you, but my feelings are the Rangers won the game, brush the goal off and move on.

Instead, Lundqvist went in the opposite direction.

I can see his point however, just because they won he finds it frustrating that a goal that he believes was bad, would count when any goal could mean the difference in a series.

I think, win or loss, he’s making a valid point. That was an absolutely terrible goal to allow, and i’dstruggle to find a more blatant “kicking motion” in the history of disallowed goals.

The POV that recognizes the absurdity of play in the crease like this being allowed, especially with 35 seconds left in the third of a potential elimination playoff game, needs to be heard.

Who better to represent it than the person with the most information on the play?
