Milan Lucic received a five-minute major and a game misconduct for boarding Zac Rinaldo late in the second period on Saturday, and he could find himself in another meeting with Brendan Shanahan.
Lucic explained the hit after the game.

For Sutton, that is 10 games. For Lucic, he might get a phone call.
Ha! Nice try. Lucic won’t even get an email from Shanahan.
I’m convinced that Lucic could bring an uzi on the ice and murder the entire opposing team and the most he would get is a sticky-note on his locker asking:
“I like you, do you like me:
Yes
No
Maybe
Sincerely,
NHL management”
I’ll be absolutely shocked if he even gets a phone call from Shanahan.
If it were anyone else, that’s a minimum of 5-games.
But Lucic, who’s already skated away scott-free on several incredibly dangerous and dirty plays won’t even be contacted for nearly killing someone again.

i dont think shanahan will even bother watching the hit… let alone email and phone calls

Are there actually sentient beings trying to compare the Lucic hit to the Sutton hit?
Whoa. Lucic’s hit was a boarding, obviously. By now, given his history of dirty hits, he should get a game or two for this one… but still.
Sutton left his feet and was off the ice by about a foot when he smashed into the head of the guy he hit. Totally different types of hits.

No HockeyinHD not a comparison of the two hits. Pointing out that for whatever reason the Bruins seem to have a different discipline structure from the NHL. Not sure how that even needed to be pointed out.

A “Hall Pass” is now referred to as a “Lucic”.
