To get intent to blow the whistle calls wrong in addition to many others.

Yeah…watch a Pens game sometime and see if that’s actually true.  Because it isn’t.

This was a terrible, terrible call.

Refs missed a big time hook that lead to the Leafs’ second goal, though, too…so it evens out I guess.

I’m sure the refs were torn between their bias for the Pens and bias for the Leafs at home.

The Penguins got all the calls to the tune of one power play to three for Toronto, and a blatant takedown of Malkin before Toronto’s second call. Stop with the “Pens get the calls” BS. Watch the games and you’ll see that’s far from the case. If you don’t choose to watch the games, I suggest shutting up ASAFP.

An imbalance of PP means nothing. I recall a certain 6 man on the ice non-call that had a lot more impact than any PP opportunity.

Maybe if Malkin doesn’t pull crap like this, he gets calls when he’s the victim of a “blatant takedown”

What a stupid call this was.

J.J.: Agreed. Horrible call. But you don’t think you could find video of pretty much any NHL player with questionable “falls” or borderline or just plain blantantly dirty plays? Let’s not be naive here.

Naivete aside, Malkin did that in Pittsburgh’s last game prior to last night’s.  Granted, there was a week between those two contests, but I wouldn’t be surprised if how recent that Malkin dive was had an effect on whether he was going to be able to draw a call in his very next game.
