According to Jason Botchford tweets, this is the fourth concussion for Hamhuis.

Not good. Hope he can find a way to return to the game he loves, but not at the cost of serious brain damage.
Incidentally, that’s both of Mike Gillis’ free agent signings from last summer out with serious injuries. So that leaves Vancouver with last year’s team, but on better form, with better goaltending, and Keith Ballard and Raffi Torres instead of Shane O’Brien and Pavol Demitra. Don’t write the Canucks off just yet.

classy.
Columbus has been a wrecking ball of injury of late. It’s sad to see anyone get a serious injury working, but to get hurt against a team so far removed from playoff contention is salting the wound.
