Strachan received a five minute major for interference, a 10 and game misconduct.
Chimera did return to play.

Exactly, this is the classic hit blind side unsuspecting player. There is no purpose to the hit, he wasn’t trying to play the puck. It all comes under the so called “finishing your check” BS that is nothing more than getting a cheap shot in while the guy isn’t looking.

He completely has a chance to let up, and instead he drives right through him. Terrible.

I’d love to see the NHLPA sanction members for cheap shots against other members. There’s no place for shitty hits like this in the game.
