Two Views Of The Kings Winning The Stanley Cup

Rich Hammond of LA Kings Insider took this video to give the fans a prospective of what it was like to be in he victory parade.

Police estimated the crowd at a quarter-million people so how does that compare to some of the recent turnouts for hockey celebration parades throughout the US?

Perhaps the most moving picture of the Kings winning the Stanley Cup was taken by Dave Krasne, which you can see below and read about it at Hockey Wilderness.

A quarter million?  That seems awfully low. I know Detroit tends to have a million. What did Boston have, last year?

The story behind the picture is great. Truly. Peace be with them.

Chicago had 2 million in 2010, I believe Boston was over a million last year.

It’s LA it’s really just a sprawl not a city.  Good that they won, they have a good fan base.  This will only get better.
