from Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch,
A few minutes before the Blue Jackets came out for the second period against Nashville, coach John Tortorella walked out of the training room and into the dressing room with a sobering message.
The Blue Jackets, playing their second game in 24 hours, would be forced to play the final two periods with only four defensemen after losing Cody Goloubef and veteran Fedor Tyutin to injury.
“This is the kind of game that brings a team together,” goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky said....
The win helped lift the pall that was cast by Goloubef’s injury. He was struck by a puck in the first period, suffered a broken jaw and was taken to Dublin Methodist hospital to be treated. It’s not a short-term injury.
Tyutin suffered an upper-body injury and is out indefinitely.
