Talking with some NHL people who say the League is projecting the Upper Limit to go up 33% over 3 years.  That’s a $80M Upper limit.

That’s just wonderful news. Another lockout when this CBA ends is almost a certainty.

That’s just wonderful news. Another lockout when this CBA ends is almost a certainty.

That comment implies you ever thought for even a second there wouldn’t have been one.

Come on, dawg.

Literally the only thing that will prevent some form of Laborus Interruptus in the NHL is a pending mega-billion dollar TV deal which hinges on prompt resumption of play.

The stupid players are still stupid, the poor (in both senses of the term) owners will still be poor, and the greedy owners will still be greedy.

TSN quoting RDS that Letang is signed.  Eight-year, $56 million.  Looking for other sources, too.
