Tribute To Hockey Moms

from the Chicago Blackhawks,
Blackhawk forwards Mark Bell and Michael Holmqvist and goaltender Craig Anderson are among the more than 200 NHL players who will take part in the first-ever “Tribute To Hockey Moms” at 10:00 a.m. on March 17, 2006 at the United Center. During the Blackhawks morning practice in preparation for that evening’s game against the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, Anderson, Bell and Holmqvist will use pink hockey sticks carrying the breast cancer research logo. The specially designed TPS sticks will then be autographed and later auctioned off at various local and national fund raising events that support breast cancer research.
