BREAKING: #Leafs get Tyson Barrie, Alex Kerfoot and a 6th rd pick in 2020 from the #Avs for Nazem Kadri, Calle Rosen and Toronto’s 3rd round selection in 2020. Colorado also retaining 50% of Barrie’s AAV ($5.5 million) as part of the transaction.

There were 2 teams on Kadri’s No list that showed interest over the past week but he didn’t want to waive as is his right under his 10-team NTC. But Colorado was not on his No list so the Leafs free to trade him there. Good trade fit with the Avs, Leafs finally get top pair RHD
