Too Early To Judge The Kaberle Trade

from Red Fisher of the Montreal Gazette,
Kaberle was a failure with the Boston Bruins. He flopped with the Carolina Hurricanes. So what does the guy do in his first game wearing his fourth different jersey in less than a year? He assists on both goals in the Canadiens’ 2-1 victory in New Jersey on Saturday.
Oops! What do you think of Kaberle now, folks?
Do we have a statue of him placed alongside those now parked in front of the Bell Centre? Do we flood the owner’s office with urgent requests to extend the contracts of Pierre Gauthier and Jacques Martin? Should we start planning the route for the Stanley Cup parade?
For now, at least, the answer is no to all of the above.
What we do is sit back and see what Kaberle does from here. He was acquired to quarterback the team’s mediocre power play, and his first point as a Canadien was the second assist on Max Pacioretty’s goal with the man advantage early in the second period.
