Tkachuk Won’t Waive No Trade Clause

from the Edmonton Sun,
He's always been a regular-season force, closing in on 1,000 points, but Tkachuk's teams have never gone far in the playoffs, bowing out in the first round nine of 11 times. He's only made it as far as the third round once. He doesn't want to be the Dan Marino of the NHL, but knows he's running out of time. "I want to win,'' he said. "It's very difficult to win, there's a lot of guys who haven't, but there's no question in my mind I want to win a Stanley Cup. "It doesn't look like it's going to happen this year because I'm not waiving my no trade, and if it doesn't happen ever, it's not from a lack of trying. Hopefully I have about three more years left and we'll see what happens.''
