NEW YORK (Nov. 12, 2017) – San Jose Sharks forward Timo Meier has been fined $2,403.67, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for roughing Vancouver Canucks defenseman Michael Del Zotto during NHL Game No. 260 in San Jose on Saturday, Nov. 11, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 18:37 of the third period. Meier was assessed a major penalty for elbowing and a game misconduct.
