Time Running Out On Darcy Tucker

from Steve Simmons of the Toronto Sun,
Darcy Tucker isn’t ready to talk about it.
Not yet, anyhow.
It’s too soon, too personal and too unknown.
For the first time in his adult life it is September and training camp is about to begin all around hockey, just not for him. This competitor has no place to compete. He is available to anyone in hockey, only right now nobody seems to want him.
There has been a nibble or two—him playing the part of a fish—but nothing more than that. There are no invitations of merit. There are no contractual offers. There are no promises of any kind and there may not be any coming.
