Kukla's Korner Hockey

Time For A Change

from the Standard Times,
General manager Mike O'Connell has been an excellent trader in his tenure as architect of the Boston Bruins. But he's been a poor architect, and now that the Bruins' post-Olympics record of 1-6 has taken them out of the playoff chase, it's time for a change.... This can't continue after Jacobs shouted from the rooftops his allegiance to Bruins fans during and after the lockout. He's got luxury-suite holders and a season-ticket base to think about at a time when his hockey operation needs a fresh start.
