BUFFALO, NY (July 29, 2010) – Buffalo Sabres forward Tim Kennedy was awarded a one year, $1 million contract today by an arbitrator. Kennedy’s hearing took place July 27 in Toronto. As per the NHL’s Collective Bargaining Agreement, the club is not eligible to walk away from an award lower than $1,611,180.
