Ticket Pricing Adjusted For Stadium Series In LA

12/26/2013 at 2:49pm EST

from Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider,

Ticketing updates for the January 25 Kings-Ducks Stadium Series game:

-The event is 80% sold out. The Kings and the National Hockey League expect the event to completely sell out by the week of the game. The Kings are hoping that the event sells out in advance of the week leading up to the game.

-The $249 dollar tickets have not sold well to this point. Per a Kings spokesperson, I have been told that the league has realized that it “missed the mark” in asking $249 per ticket in the Reserve Level, even if those seats contain some of the best views of the playing surface. Some of the $249 tickets will be adjusted to $199 and $189. Those who previously purchased seats for $249 in sections that will experience price drops to $199 and $189 will be refunded the difference between the two price points.
