Three Teams Want Shanahan

from the New York Daily News,
Brendan Shanahan thought he was going to become a Ranger three times before. One of those times, in fact, he was so certain he was on his way to Broadway that he was looking at apartments in Manhattan and houses in Westchester. Will the fourth time be the charm? Shanahan was back in the city Wednesday to be wined, dined and shown around the club's two facilities by Rangers brass. To complete the pitch, his likeness superimposed above a Rangers No. 14 jersey briefly appeared on the Garden's Seventh Ave. marquee accompanied by the words: "New York Rangers Welcome Brendan Shanahan."
