Also, keep in mind that Bill Daly can and will totally lie if he needs to as part of his job.

Friedman’s tweets clarified the situation a bit, but Daly should have not answered the question.
But since he did, he was better off answering yes. Can you imagine what would be going on right now if he said no?

Of course he would say yes, and when there is no season, he will have a feigned shocked look on his face when asked about this answer, and he will say he had no idea the players were that uninterested in the fans or in having a season at all.
He’s a smart man.
