The Voting Process

Instead of posting every writer's picks for the different awards, which can become a boring read very quickly, how about some information about the voting process. from Anthony J. SanFilippo of the Delaware County Times,
Each member considered "in good standing" of the Professional Hockey Writers’ Association will have an individual vote count in the voting for the Hart, Calder, Norris, Selke, Lady Byng, and Masterton trophies. This is a significant change from years past where participating chapters of the Association were given a limited number of votes based on the number of regular print media that covered the team. In years past, the Philadelphia chapter received two votes, which is actually one of the larger contingents, as most member cities got only one vote. But now, it is up to the chapter chairman of each city to determine how many members of their chapter are in "good standing."
read on...but it does include his picks...
