The Same New Coach For The Islanders

from Islanders.com,

The New York Islanders announced today that they have removed the “interim” label from Head Coach Jack Capuano’s title. As per club policy, the terms and conditions of Capuano’s contract are not disclosed.

“We have made tremendous strides as a team this season under Jack’s direction and I’m confident that he’s the right person to lead the Islanders into the playoffs,” said Islanders General Manager Garth Snow. “Jack’s work ethic and familiarity with the numerous players on our roster has eased his adjustment to the NHL and we look forward to him taking the Islanders to the next level.”

The first-year coach led the Islanders to a 26-29-10 record this season, including a 25-21-8 mark in their final 54 games and a 15-12-6 record after the All-Star Break.

Add Mark Streit and a free agent or two to that team and they’ll be in the playoffs next year for sure. But of course they’re still a joke franchise, because they tanked a few years and employ a couple of irresponsible goons, so any success they have will be tainted, right Pens fans?

Tanked a few Years?? a few Decades !

Tanking when you do it on Purpose not when you have a buffoon owner & Backup Goalie as a name in only GM

Same fools that went to the Igloo under a bankrupt owner who only joined the org because they tanked to cause the NHL to institute a lottery. Held a city hostage by threatening to move to Ottawa and then got gambling addicts to support a small market team. Tey just need to continue following the formulat to load up on a bunch of goons, lead the team in fighting majors add the most reckless piece of shit in hockey. Have Mr Bean and Colon pretend they are saints, rig another lottery in their favor after the next lockout, throw additonal cash their way by having them play in the Winter Classic (the idea the Islanders proposed in the first place ) and it will all be good. Fisherman is a hell of a lot more useful than a bird that can’t even fly. Now that is the most useless animal on the planet.

So what you are saying Jackass is that the Pens could survive utter suckitude, but the Islanders won’t?  The fools that were attracted to the Igloo are the Pens fans, not the players that got dealt or refused to sign there.  What you are saying is that the Penguins completely rebuilt by sucking on the lottery teat and by doing nothing else.

BTW, the Islander did sign a guy named Streit as a free agent and Moulson as well, because they aren’t in bankruptcy to answer your moronic question as to who would sign with the Islanders. The Penguins were just that much more incompetent at attracting players to that dump than the Islanders are even in their current state.  Time to stop trolling news about the Islanders and watch re-runs of David Volek or John Tonelli sream rolling your playoff hopes.

Sream rolling

Nobody WANTS to play with the Fishermen, But als the Fishermen Have to get to the salary floor , That is why they overpaid for Streit, Guerin, Weight & Moulson is a Big fish erman in Mud Puddle ! The Pens didn’t even feel the need to sign him coming out of college & L.A. Signed him & was a curtain jerker in the Minors & Kings didn’t resign him & the Fisherman signed because he played with John Tavares’ older brother & was friends with him also. And Voila chemistry

Five-year contract worth $20.5 million is overpaid for Streit? Don’t follow hockey much other than posting comments do you? Flightless Fowls can’t find a first line winger, but they were so smart they couldn’t hold onto a guy that turned into two time 30 goal scorer. Islanders then unloaded Guerin’s contract on the Penis now didn’t they?  Was that overpayment by the Penis as well or is sucking up Kovalev’s hit a willingness to overpay? Keep proving the Fightless Birds organization is run on luck and the lottery certainly not hockey acumen. NTC only 3 players on the pens and one is immovable - Cooke at 1.8 absolutely brilliant.

My stupidity is a typo, yours is apparently genetic with random caps and typos (But als ?). STEAM ROLL BABY.
