Kukla's Korner Hockey

from Damien Cox of the Toronto Star,
The kid can play. And the kid’s got a story.
You know, one of those hockey stories that seems more fiction than fact. James Reimer grew up in Morweena, Manitoba, pop. 130, a town where if you wanted to play organized hockey you needed to drive about 15 minutes away to Arborg, pop. 1,200.
Played a lot in Uncle Rick’s backyard with his older brother, who needed a target to shoot on. His dad, Harold, moves houses for a living. Pops them on a truck and moves ’em. Young James, meanwhile, met his wife, April, at a Moose Jaw Warriors game while she was studying at a nearby bible school.
Honest to Richie Cunningham.
