-The increased flow to this season’s games was corroborated by Gary Bettman who reveals that there were 13,000 less stoppages of play than last season. The Commish also reiterated that officials who don’t call penalties that are merited, will not find themselves working deep into the playoffs. -When asked if he regretted signing with the Flyers this season, Peter Forsberg’s response: “No! Absolutely not. Just look at the alternatives I had – Boston. Toronto and Los Angeles. None of them made the playoffs."
