Kukla's Korner Hockey

-Martin Brodeur tells us that he’s seeking input for his new (goalie) role on the NHL’s Competition Committee. One rule for which many believe Marty will lobby is erasing the trapezoid. (Good idea!) -Is there a more candid coach than John Tortorella? We doubt it. Who else would say this about his goalies? “We’re not thrilled with our goaltending. First of all one, (John Grahame) been playing most. And we can’t get the other guy (Sean Burke) out of the tub to play!” Funny, we like them both. -One of Wayne Gretzky’s teammates from Edmonton, worries about his buddy and the effect of coaching on The Great One. “By the end of the season,” the man says, “I expect Wayne’s blond hair to turn grey!”
