-Jacques Martin tells us that one factor coming out of the new NHL is that teams are scoring more than ever on rebounds. "Since defensemen now are limited in front of the net," says Martin, "shooters figure that by firing the puck more -- even if they don't score, there'll be a rebound. Nowadays, defensemen are uncertain what to do, so they're inside ‘fishing' for the puck. While they're fishing, the puck's going in the net." -Two-Word Definition of a Build-Up-To-A-Letdown: Pittsburgh Penguins! -Those who believe the new Salary-Capped CBA paves the way for an NHL return to Winnipeg and Quebec City should forgedaboutit. Not a chance!
