• Those who believe that Rob Blake will be moved by the Kings have another think coming. For starters, the 37-year-old defenseman has a no-trade pact plus he’s in the first year of a two-year, $12 million contract that carries a $ 6 million salary-cap figure.
• The annual NHL agents’ confab in Toronto last week inspired much talk about which reps do support Ted Saskin and who’s against the NHLPA leader. Two of the most respected agents in the biz, Don Meehan and Don Baizley, back Saskin and that should give him an edge in the ugly union Civil War.
