So at the Sather festivities, the parochial master of ceremonies (and why wouldn’t he be?) was in the midst of introducing “the greatest European born-player in NHL history” when, lo and behold, Jari Kurri walked onto the red carpet with Jaromir Jagr nowhere in sight.
