The San Jose Sharks Need To Make A Goalie Change

from Mark Purdy of the Mercury News,

The Sharks have a goalie decision to make. It shouldn't be a tough one.

Alex Stalock, come on down.

There was no official word Sunday that Stalock will indeed be replacing Antti Niemi in net for Monday night's Game 6 against the Los Angeles Kings. But anyone with two eyes who has watched Niemi struggle in the last two games would surely reach that conclusion.

Todd McLellan has two eyes.

"We've got to think about that and decide," the Sharks coach said Sunday, insisting he hasn't yet made up his mind.

Wait, who?

I’ve got to think you keep with Niemi, and give him another game to build up any confidence he may have lost before going into the next round.

Whatever happens in this current series, goaltending is the Sharks Achilles heal.  Same with Anaheim. It’s really hard to win a cup without a decent goalie.

Stalock first off the ice and Vlassic did not practice.
