The Pittsburgh Penguins Need To Find Their Game Quickly

from Joe Starkey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette,

This was deeply disturbing on several fronts.

The Penguins didn’t lose Game 3 on Wednesday because the opposing goalie stole it. They didn’t lose by fluke. They lost because they got outplayed, outworked and outsmarted by a vastly inferior team.

What does that say about them?

Are the Penguins finished as a legit championship contender? As a team to be feared?

Plenty of folks outside of Pittsburgh had that opinion long before these playoffs began. I’m not buying it just yet. Ask me again around 8 p.m. Friday.

I dont know if there is ever a time I wanted the penguins to win, but it is now. Giving them a chance at Laff is atrocious.

Lets go Pens, just for the next 2 games.

I agree. No Pittsburgh or Chicago. I want them to win the first round, then lose. LOL

There are some sane people in Montreal who also do not want the Habs to win.  Of course they will screw everything up by eliminating the Pens then getting steamrollered by the Bruins and end up picking 18th.  Pittsburgh will of course win the Lafreniere lottery.
