The Nashville Predators Win A Game They Badly Needed

The difference between falling behind 3-0 in a series and closing it to 2-1 is like the difference between getting a jolt of energy and a taking a trip to the electric chair.

And there was no way the Nashville Predators were going to allow themselves to become Pred Men Walking in their Western Conference semifinal with the San Jose Sharks Tuesday night.

Led by a big night from their top players - Colin Wilson, Shea Weber, James Neal and Filip Forsberg all scored - Nashville is on the comeback trail instead of the Green Mile after a 4-1 victory in Game 3 at Bridgestone Arena.

“I think our guys played a really gutsy game,” said Nashville coach Peter Laviolette, whose club can tie the series Thursday night at home. “We blocked a lot of shots, guys were sacrificing their bodies. I really liked the way we played tonight.”
