The Important NHL Games Tonight

Columbus needs to beat Philadelphia tonight to have a true shot at the 3rd spot in the Metropolitan Division and/or secure their spot in the wild card chase.

Dallas could use more points to increase their lead on Phoenix in the wild card chase in the Western Conference.

Toronto has to think they need to sweep their remaining five games and it has to start against Boston tonight.

The Wild could use a win to enhance their spot in the wild card standings.

San Jose needs to win tonight if they have any chance of catching Anaheim in the Pacific Division.

View the current NHL standing below of teams involved in the playoff race plus two Dave Stubb tweets which include the remaining games for the teams in each conference.

Got to love this time of year:nothing gets done because it’s hard not to watch these stretch-run and playoff NHL games.

On a good note, I should be productive again come mid-June.

They’re battling a team just three points behind them in the division standings.  I would think their game against CBJ tonight means a lot more real estate.

Looks like the BJs and Leafs are both going to get two points tonight.

Flyers played like they had no sense of urgency with CBJ now just one point behind them and threatening to put them into a wild card spot.
