The Columbus Blue Jackets Held A Morning Skate Today

Blue Jackets coach John Tortorella admittedly isn’t a fan of going to the arena on the mornings his team plays, but he held a rare morning skate before Wednesday’s home game against the Maple Leafs on the heels of Monday’s 7-2 loss in Boston.

“After a game like Boston, I’m anxious to see how we react,” Tortorella said, adding that he met privately with the team’s leaders. “We had a very good meeting today, a video session. You know I don’t like coming here in the mornings. It was very important just to present what our mindset should be and our reset as a team.”
