Seth Jones scored a goal for his 300th NHL point, helping the Chicago Blackhawks to their fourth win in a row under new coach Derek King, 4-2 against the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena on Wednesday.
Alex DeBrincat and Patrick Kane each scored and had an assist, and Marc-Andre Fleury made 31 saves for the Blackhawks (5-9-2), who won for the first time in seven road games this season. They have not lost since King replaced Jeremy Colliton on Nov. 6.
"[Jones] is awesome. I mean, he's very skilled," DeBrincat said. "He's really fast, as you guys saw. It just brings a whole new dynamic to it. You can get four guys in the rush rather than three. I think he's helped us a lot this year."
Philipp Grubauer made 15 saves making his 200th NHL start, and Jared McCann and Yanni Gourde scored for the Kraken (4-11-1), who have lost five straight.
"Wish I had an answer for it," McCann said. "It's frustrating. We need to clean it up. I'm frustrated. I want to win. I think everybody does on our team. You know, things aren't going our way right now. But we're shooting ourselves in the foot. That's the way it is."
