Well, ka-boom.

Jarome Iginla left Wednesday. Now Jay Boumeester’s gone. And last we heard, Miikka Kiprusoff was teetering on the brink, too. Who’s next? Michael Cammalleri? Alex Tanguay? Cory Sarich?

Is anyone safe? SHOULD anyone be safe?

Hockey’s oldest team, for so long so stubborn about injecting youth into a geriatric lineup, is shedding years faster than contestants shedding pounds on a episode of The Biggest Loser.

I think Camalleri would like nice in Red and White if that cap hit wasn’t so bad.
