from Stephen Harris of the Boston Herald,
Claude Julien actually sat in front of a roomful of reporters and cameras late last night and claimed he had no idea what happened to Zdeno Chara.
“No, nothing, I’ve got nothing on him yet,” said the Bruins coach after his team’s 4-2 loss to the St. Louis Blues at the Garden.
What the heck is it with the Bruins and their utter inability to tell the truth about injuries? How insulting is it to B’s fans, many of whom laid out hundreds of dollars last night to watch their team slip to 4-4-0 on home ice this year, when the coach insists he has no idea what happened when his captain and most important defenseman left with an injury one shift into the second period?
Or when he says, eight days ago in Denver, that top goal scorer David Pastrnak is not skating because he’s taking a “maintenance day?” Last night he missed his third straight game. Sure, there’s speculation Pastrnak might have a concussion, and those can be unpredictable from day to day. But why not just say he’s got a concussion?
