The league's top 50 point-producers include only four Americans, and the highest ranked of those is New Jersey's Brian Gionta at No. 27. The Hull, you say? Nope, he's retired. Roenick? Guerin? LeClair? Old, old, old. Four other countries cram more players onto the big list. Canada, the Olympic tournament's top dog, has 21. Slovakia, a gold-medal dark horse, has seven. (Hello, Marek Svatos). Russia has six. And Sweden has seven. (Goodbye again, Peter Forsberg). Tonight, U.S. Olympic hockey officials will turn in their final, Italy-bound roster, revealing 23 names and one big question: Where will this team find its offense?more
