Talking OLN-HD

Pretty enjoyable game tonight. You can say this about the game, Canes didn't lose, they just ran out of time. Sabres were hanging on in the end and looked completely gassed. I would like to get your views on the OLN presentation of the game, especially the HD viewers. I thought Doc sounded a little congested tonight, his voice became raspy as the game went on. Olczyk did a very good job as the color man. It looks like Chicago made the right decision in hiring him for next year. The picture quality was very good in HD. I was watching on INHD via Comcast in the Detroit area. Sound problems all night long. No center channel for me, the left front speaker was the source for the voices tonight. Also, when the camera in the corners was used, the picture actually switched to SD, with the sidebars appearing. OLN needs to make the team logos smaller thus allowing the score bar to be moved to the very top of the screen and they need to stop running promos while the game is being played. Those promos interfere with the picture and is very annoying. Hopefully, they have learned some valuable lessons and their broadcasts will improve next year. I also noticed the away team goal horn was non-existent tonight. Instead, the score bar flashed about five times when a team scored. I understand the game was finally available in HD for Dish subscribers but Directv viewers filed complaints that they lost the HD signal during the game. Your opinions are much appreciated here, and maybe OLN is monitoring this post.
