"I did not think I would get this question at age 29," said Sykora, who had scored only 7 goals in 39 games for Anaheim before the Mighty Ducks traded him and a fourth-round pick in 2007 to the Rangers on Sunday for the 22-year-old defenseman Maxim Kondratiev.
