from The Record,
Having successfully completed his commitment to coach the Canadian national junior team in its Super Series against Russia—his team won seven of the eight games and tied the other—Sutter plans to arrive in New Jersey today and jump “right into the thick of things” with his new job.
“I’m excited now just like I have been every year of training camp,” he said. “I’m an intense guy. I’m intense behind the bench. That’s just my makeup. That’s who I am. Brent Sutter is not all of the sudden going to change now that he’s coaching in the National Hockey League.”
