via the CP at TSN,
NHL training camps are expected to open on Sunday.
Deputy commissioner Bill Daly tells The Canadian Press that the ratification process for a new CBA should be completed on Saturday, which would allow for camps to open the following day.
The NHL's board of governors will gather in New York on Wednesday to vote on the new agreement.
Players will conduct their voting process electronically.
Both sides need majority support to bring in the new CBA.
