Stillman Has Shoulder Surgery

Cory Stillman - one of the Carolina Hurricanes' top scorers in the run to their first Stanley Cup - had surgery on his right shoulder Friday and could miss the start of the regular season. Stillman is expected to take up to four months to recover from the operation to correct a lingering injury, team president and general manager Jim Rutherford said. Specific information about the injury was not immediately available.
