Kukla's Korner Hockey

Still Blacked Out

from the Star-Ledger,
It's NHL playoff time, which can mean only one thing for Devils fans -- a certain amount of frustration with television coverage of their favorite team. Today, it's Cablevision and Patriot Media subscribers who have yet to switch over to digital cable. Without digital cable, they can't get OLN, which has the exclusive broadcast rights to two games in the conference semifinal round of the playoffs. "I'm not going to pay extra just so I can get hockey games," said Doug Leonard, a Devils fan and Patriot Media subscriber in Branchburg. "I wish we could get the games back on ESPN."
