from Josh Cooper of The Tennessean,
The Nashville Predators will not make an attempt to re-sign soon-to-be unrestricted free agent forward Steve Sullivan.
Sullivan told The Tennessean that he was informed at his year-end meeting with Nashville that the team would opt to go another direction this offseason. Predators General Manager David Poile confirmed his intention to not re-sign Sullivan.
“It’s unfortunate that every good thing comes to an end,” Poile said. “Steve will go down in our history as one of our best and most popular players.”

Invite him ti training camp Kenny….see what he has left…
He’s right handed.
About a goal every 4 games, but 18% of those were GW’ers (50).

Sullivan has always been a guy who rose to the occasion- that’s why he’s a bonafide Wing killer. Playing them brought out his best.
I think he’d be a killer second or third line player in the playoffs for whoever gets him.

If his back is still in good shape, might make an interesting 4th liner. certainly worthy of training camp invite.

If he’s healthy, he’s the ideal kind of Wings player; a hard working, salt of the earth, blue collar guy who can be a real producer when motivated and on a good line. Before that string of injuries he could have been in the upper echelon. Now he’ll be a bargain. Definitely worth a look, I’d say.
