Start times for Olympic playoff qualification and quarterfinal games set; TV info to come

02/17/2014 at 5:46am EST

Team Sweden GM Tommy Boustedt reported that the Olympic hockey teams met with the IIHF this morning to determine the start times of Tuesday's qualification round games and Wednesday's quarterfinals. Here are the qualification round starts, via Yahoo Sports' Greg "Puck Daddy" Wyshynski (and I or Paul will update this post with TV info):

So, for Tuesday, February 19th, that's:

Slovenia-Austria at 3 AM EST

Russia-Norway at 7:30 AM

Switzerland-Latvia at 12 PM EST

And Czech-Slovakia at 12 PM.

Wednesday's quarterfinal start times are set, too:

So on Wednesday, February 19th:

Sweden will play the winner of the Austria-Slovenia game at 3 AM EST

Finland will play the winner of the Russia-Norway game at 7:30 AM;

Canada will play the winner of the Switzerland-Latvia game at 12 PM EST;

And the U.S. will play the winner of the Czech-Slovakia game at 12 PM [edit: the U.S. game will air on NBCSN per NHL.com]

I thought Boudstedt's Tweet of himself sitting in the boardroom with IIHF president Rene Fasel and the other Olympic hockey teams' GM's was really cool to see:
