Stars Still Have Interest In Zubov

Mike Heika just got off the phone with Stars general manager Joe Nieuwendyk, and here’s the GM’s take on the ESPN interview with Sergei Zubov’s agent that made it seem like the defenseman might be headed elsewhere:
From Mr. Heika:
Niewendyk said the door still is open for Sergei Zubov, but that the Stars want to make sure he is healthy. Nieuwendyk said he would like to talk with Zubov in a month or so if he has not signed with another team.
