PLAYER OF THE WEEK

His club played more games since we last checked in than any of the other four we highlight here, but Charlotte forward Chris Terry’s three goal, three assist performance was too much to ignore and he is our latest honoree as Player of the Week. Honorable mention to Checker goaltender Mike Murphy, who backstopped Charlotte to all five of its points earned last week with two wins (including a 5-0 shutout over Hershey on Sunday) and a shootout loss. Murphy stopped 94 of 99 shots for a .949 save percentage in that span. Runner-up stick taps are also in order for Charlotte’s Zach Boychuk (0-5-5), Hershey’s Boyd Kane (2-3-5), Rochester’s Michal Repik (3-2-5) and Chicago’s Jared Ross (0-5-5).
