Hershey (33-16-1-3) trails East Division-leading Wilkes-Barre/Scranton by ten points, with Charlotte (30-18-2-4) four points back in third and Norfolk (27-15-8-3) five points behind the Bears in fourth place

Despite closing out last week with a pair of wins, Rochester (23-26-3-2) remains last in the Western Conference’s North Division, two points behind sixth place Grand Rapids, while Chicago (27-23-2-4) is seventh in the West Division.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Rochester goaltender Tyler Plante is our player of the week this week after stopping 111 of 117 shots against in four starts, managing a 2-2 record therein. Plante’s efforts were sorely needed for the Amerks, who were blanked in consecutive games to start the week before managing two straight wins to close things out, capped by a 46-save performance in a 3-1 win over Grand Rapids.
